We begin your tour of North Macedonia by leaving Tirana early in the morning and heading north toward the country’s capital, Skopje. Along the way, you will notice the striking contrasts between regions and cities, from quiet countryside to remnants of the communist era, including old industrial complexes, bunkers, and historic slogans that tell stories of the past. Your first stop is the serene Bigorski Monastery of St. John the Baptist, an architectural gem surrounded by the lush landscapes of Mavrovo National Park. Next, we explore the bustling Old Bazaar and the historic Kurshumli Han, followed by visits to the sacred St. Spas Church and the Mustafa Pasha Mosque.
