Two day trip to Nazca. First day we drove to paracas for a boat trip. Beautiful island saw penguins, pelicans and sea lions. Then on to huacachina. The oasis was stunning and the sand dunes like nothing I have seen before. The sand buggy was quite extreme but a fantastic experience then surfing down the dunes was also a lot of fun. The next morning 3 hours on the coach down to Nazca. The lines and drawings are amazing but the flight was a lot of turning to allow for photos and I was very sick as were a few people, be warned. It was then a 7 hour drive back to lima. The trip was definitely worth it and was very well organised

Tour c/out as described in the website. However, our tour guide left on the afternoon of the first day and new guide showed up next morning. New guide did not speak English well and could not understand much either. We booked as well optional tours offered on the second day in Nazca. Local guide lacked informations about historical sites and seems to give his interpretation of the history rather than stick to the proven facts.

The whole tour was very well organized, despite several different tours mixing throughout the two days. Every tour operator was respectful, well spoken and able to answer any question you had. I enjoy some thrill seeking so I absolutely loved the sand buggies through the dunes, highly recommend. My stomach was a bit soft for the plane ride over the Nazca Lines but the scenery was still stunning. Seeing the sea lions and formations in Paracas was lovely. Admittedly a loooong bus ride back at the end of the tour, just be sure to bring some music or a good audio book to help pass the time.

We enjoyed our 2 day tour. Unfortunately the boat tour through the Ballesta Islands was cancelled due to high winds and the Navy closing all ports. Regardless, we had a great time on the sand dunes with the buggies and surfing. The Nazca trip unfortunately took up the ENTIRE day which was a shame. We enjoyed the fly over and seeing many of the Nazca Lines, however, the time in the airport is MAYBE an hour. The bus ride is 3 hours out and 3 hours back and then 2 hours wasted in the town.

Wow! Absolute treasure to get to see this world heritage site. We all got very dizzy during the flight and some people even vomited. Recommend not eating before the flight. The suggested lunch place was very Americanized (sandwiches, pizza, etc), but right across the street there was a local "pollería" that several of us decided to try and were pleasantly surprised. Food in Peru is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. I only wish there had been more historical insights provided during the flight. You will have to do your own research.
