Day 1:

Benefit from the cooler weather and fewer crowds in the morning as you explore the surrounding temples. See Angkor Thom, a well-known jungle temple that is famous both for its past and its presence in the Tomb Raider movie.

See the large smiling faces at the Bayon Temple and some of the lesser-known but still outstanding temple, like the Buddhist temple of Banteay Kdei, a pyramid temple that is used by monks.

Visit Ta Keo, a mountain temple built in the 10th century. Return to your accommodation at the end of the first day.

Day 2:
Sun set with big tour 10:30am -7pm
Enjoy a seamless transfer from your accommodation to the temple of Preah Khan, the biggest temple on this loop, built by King Bayon for his father. The water around Neak Pean Island temple was used for bathing in the Angkor period.

Head to Ta Som which has a distinctive tree that has grown over the East Gate. Continue to the East Mebon temple which was once an artificial island, but now lies in a dry reservoir.

Go to Pre-Rup which a stone structure that was used by Hindus to meditate on the full moon. Finally go to Phnom Bakheang for the sunset, a hilltop temple with 33 towers that represents the heavens. Return to your accommodation at the end of the tour.
