What you can expect

Embark on a 2-day trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani. Admire the breathtaking views of the Segara Anak Lake, Sembalun Village, and the summit of Mount Rinjani. Enjoy a guided trek with a porter, and camp at the Sembalun Crater Rim.

Day 1:

After breakfast, be transferred to Sembalun Village in a mountain car. Arrive at the Rinjani Information Center and Post 1. Take a rest at Post 1 and continue to Post 2. Take a short break at Post 2 and continue to Post 3. Rest at Post 3 and have lunch.

Continue to Sembalun Crater Rim and set up camp. Enjoy the sunset and sunrise over the Segara Anak Lake, Sembalun Village, and the summit of Mount Rinjani.

Day 2:

Wake up at 2:30 AM and have a light breakfast. Start the trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani. Admire the views of Lombok Island, Bali, Mt. Tambora in Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.

After sunrise, go down to the Sembalun Crater Rim and have breakfast. Continue to go down to Sembalun Village and have lunch. Arrive in Sembalun Village and be transferred to Senaru Village.
