Day 1: Puno – La Paz – Uyuni
At the indicated time we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to go to the bus terminal and take a tourist bus to La Paz. The journey will take about 8 hours. Upon arriving in La Paz, you will have the afternoon free to stroll through the city and El Alto, thus discovering the rich local culture of the capital of Bolivia and its great attractions.

At night, we will take a sleeper bus with seats that recline up to 160 degrees. We will arrive in Uyuni after about 10 hours of travel.

Day 2: Uyuni Salt Flats
Upon arriving in Uyuni in the morning, we will go to a cafeteria where you can have breakfast and use the toilets and showers. If you prefer, we can recommend a place to stay until the start of the tour.

After a few hours to rest, we will begin our one and a half hour visit to the Train Cemetery. Then, we will go to the community of Colchani to enter the Salar de Uyuni. Along the way, we will enter some artisan workshops and a rustic table salt microprocessor.

Our tour will continue in the Ojos del Salar and in the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, which currently functions as a museum. Afterwards, we will visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti.

After a spectacular sunset over the Salar de Uyuni, we will be back in Uyuni. We can drop you off at the bus station or wherever you prefer in town after a 9-hour day.
