  • You must be able to ride a bicycle on your own at a leisurely pace for a distance of up to 8 miles (13 km). Trailers and child seats are available for younger riders.
  • You must present a valid photo ID on the day of the activity.
  • The date you select when booking will be the date of your Alcatraz tour; the bike tour will take place the day after.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
  • You will receive confirmation of your exact Alcatraz tour departure time when you call to confirm your reservation.

Experience two of San Francisco’s most iconic adventures with a visit to Alcatraz followed by a guided bike tour across the Golden Gate Bridge.

On your selected booking date, head to Pier 33 to board the ferry to Alcatraz Island. Explore the world-famous former prison at your own pace with the immersive audio tour, visit historic exhibits, and enjoy sweeping views of the city before returning to the mainland.

The next day, meet your guide for a scenic bike tour along San Francisco’s waterfront. Get fitted for your bike and helmet before pedaling toward the towering Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy photo stops and commentary along the way, then ride across the bridge on a dedicated bike path with breathtaking views of the bay, Alcatraz, and the city skyline.

After crossing into Marin, follow the path through Vista Point and down a winding road to the charming bayside town of Sausalito. Spend time exploring galleries, cafés, and waterfront streets before returning to San Francisco by ferry (tickets sold separately).

PLEASE NOTE: Date of booking is date of Alcatraz trip. Alcatraz afternoon departure time will be emailed separately to visitors approximately 3 days before departure.

Guided Bike Tour will be day after and please arrive 30 minutes before the starting time.
