Departing from the Kihei Boat Ramp, the closest launch point to Wailea, this tour minimizes travel time and maximizes your time on the water. Free parking is available at the ramp, and check-in is just minutes from all Kihei and Wailea resorts.

Your journey begins with an exhilarating ride toward Molokini Crater, one of Maui’s most famous snorkeling destinations. Known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant reef ecosystem, Molokini offers exceptional visibility and abundant marine life. We almost always reach Molokini; however, if ocean conditions are not favorable, a beautiful coastal snorkeling location will be selected to ensure guest safety and enjoyment. Snorkel gear is included, making this experience easy and accessible for all skill levels.

As you travel to and from the snorkel site, you’ll cruise through Maui’s prime humpback whale habitat during peak whale season. These waters are frequented by mother whales, calves, and escort males, offering incredible opportunities to witness surface activity such as breaches, tail slaps, and nurturing behavior. Sightings often happen just feet from the raft, creating thrilling and memorable moments. An onboard hydrophone allows you to listen to live whale songs underwater, adding a powerful dimension to the experience.

The tour includes approximately 1.5 hours of scenic cruising and whale watching, plus about one hour of snorkeling. Throughout the trip, expert local guides share fascinating insights about whale behavior, marine life, and Maui’s unique ocean environment.

Included onboard are refreshing Hawaiian juices and water, low-to-water seating for immersive viewing, and dry storage for small personal items. Guests are encouraged to bring reef-safe sunscreen, a swimsuit, towel, sunglasses, and a light bag.
