Pick up at 10:00 am from your hotel in Lima. We will Visit old and modern Lima for around 5-6 hour tour. Places to visit, Miraflores, Huaca Pucllana, Barranco, the Historic Center, Convent of San Francisco de Asis, Casa Aliaga, and the cathedral, You have the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3: Lima – Ballestas Islands – Huacachina.

We’ll pick you up at 5 or 6 a.m. and begin our journey, passing by the Chandelier geoglyph, used as a navigational reference. It is believed to be connected to the Nazca lines. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, we’ll observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and various guano birds like cormorants, pelicans, and seagulls. Next, we explore Paracas National Reserve, where you’ll see flamingos feeding in the sea, visit the Obelisk commemorating Don José de San Martín, and view the Cathedral Rock formation, damaged in the 2007 Pisco earthquake. Afterward, we return to Paracas Bay for lunch and free time for souvenir shopping or relaxing by the sea. We then drive for 2 more hours to Ica, enjoy the sunset, and spend the night there.
Day 4: Huacachina – Lima

One of the main attractions of Huacachina is sand boarding and dune buggy rides. These activities are popular among visitors who want to experience the thrill of racing over the sand dunes and sliding down them on a board. Time to go back to Lima after an epic tour full of fun activities and unforgettable experiences. Our guide and driver will take you to your Lima hotel. We drive for almost 5 hours, on the way we can stop to stretch our legs or buy snacks.
Day 5: Lima – Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Reserve

Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, we’ll pick you up from the bus terminal or airport and head to our storage to drop off your belongings for the 4-day tour. Afterward, we’ll take a 1.5-hour drive to the Tambopata port, where a boat will take us on a 50-minute journey along the Tambopata River to observe wildlife such as birds, turtles, capybaras, and alligators, and if lucky, the jaguar. Once we arrive at the lodge, we’ll welcome you with a typical Amazon refreshment, settle into your room, and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take a walk through the primary forest to observe ancient trees, insects, spiders, monkeys, and more. After dinner, we’ll have a night excursion to spot alligators, capybaras, and possibly a feline hunting near the river. We’ll return to the lodge for rest. (Plans may vary depending on arrival time.)
Day 6: Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho Reserve Center

We’ll wake up early and travel up the Tambopata River for 1 hour 20 minutes, enjoying a beautiful sunrise. During this time, we may spot the sacred anaconda along the banks of the Tambopata National Reserve. Our first stop is the Clay Lick, where we’ll observe hundreds of parrots and macaws feeding on the clay to balance their PH levels. We’ll watch this colorful and noisy display from a comfortable viewing blind, offering an up-close experience. Afterward, we’ll visit the Research Center to learn about the diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys, tapirs, giant trees, and medicinal plants. We’ll return to our camp located near the Tambopata National Reserve for dinner. In the evening, we’ll take a night walk to observe nocturnal species before heading back to our lodge to rest.
Day 7: Adventure – Kayak Sandoval Lake

Today after an early breakfast we will pack our things to take our return boat approximately 30 mins down the Tambopata River towards the port where our private mobility awaits us for the transfer to the city of Puerto Maldonado. We will go to our storage to exchange some of our belongings. On this day you will be able to appreciate a great diversity of flora and fauna as well as monkeys on the way to the Sandoval Lake Reserve, we will put on a show of swinging through the treetops charging down the trunks of the large trees that form their home in order to accept food from your hand. Afterwards, enjoy the great Canopy and Kayak, we then will head to the Sandoval Lake reserve, where there will be a hike of 1 1/2 hours and a boat ride for 30 mins to the lodge very close to the lake. Enjoy the beautiful Sunset.
Day 8: Sandoval Lake – Puerto Maldonado – Flight to Cusco

We will pick you up after your breakfast. Today we will explore the gorgeous Lake in the morning and we will have the place almost entirely for ourselves. Once we are done, we will head back to our lodge to pack and get back to Puerto Maldonado. There will be a short hike of 1 ½ hours through lush vegetation, afterwards, you will travel by boat back to Puerto Maldonado. We will drive you to the airport for your flight out. Our next destination will be Cusco.
Day 9: Cusco City Walking Tour

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to the Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun, where we’ll explore its intact architecture and compare the Incan and Catholic building methods. The temple was the Inca Empire's spiritual center and today, the Santo Domingo church stands on top. Afterward, we’ll travel to Sacsayhuaman, an archaeological site featuring massive 200-ton monoliths, and learn about its religious and military significance. Next, we’ll visit Q’enqo, a site with intricate rock formations symbolizing the Andean constellations and sacred animals. We’ll then head to Puca Pucara, a circular Inca site once used for shelter and military defense, and Tambomachay, known for its water fountains, symbolizing the Inca’s belief in the rejuvenating power of water. After the tour, we’ll return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
Day 10: Sacred Valley Tour (Pisaq – Maras – Moray and Ollantaytambo)

The Inca Trail to Sacred Valley tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. and a journey through the Sacred Valley, starting with a stop at the Pisaq handicraft market for souvenirs. We’ll then head to the Pisaq viewpoint for photos, followed by a 1.5-hour tour of the Pisaq archaeological site, exploring temples, the urban sector, Inca cemetery, and agricultural terraces. After traveling through towns like Coya, Calca, and Yucay, we’ll reach Urubamba for lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, we’ll visit the salt mines near Maras and the Moray agrarian experimentation center. Our next stop will be Chinchero, where we’ll explore the colonial temple built on Inca foundations. The day ends with a visit to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll tour the Inca fortress, temples, ceremonial fountains, and food storage. Afterward, we’ll head to our hotel for an overnight stay, preparing for the hike to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 11: Ollantaytambo – Short Inca Trail – Sungate – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes

The day begins with a 5:30 a.m. pick-up and a 6:10 a.m. train ride to Km 104. After stopping, we’ll register at the checkpoint (bring your passport). We’ll then visit Chachabamba, an Incan site with temples, a main patio, and sacred rock, where our guide will share insights. We’ll hike uphill to the Winaywayna Incan temple, where we’ll enjoy the scenic views and learn about its significance. After a packed lunch at Winaywayna, we’ll continue hiking for two more hours to Machu Picchu, entering through the Gate of the Sun, offering the first stunning views of the city. After exploring the Incan city, we’ll take the bus to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), where we’ll stay at Intipunku Suites or a similar hotel and have dinner (not included).
Day 12: Machupicchu Day – Back to Cusco

Today a great breakfast at the hotel makes us ready for a full morning exploration of Machu Picchu on a private tour with your Trek Leader. We’ll take the bus back to Machu Picchu early in the morning for an amazing tour until 12:00 pm (Machu Picchu permits will be issued for the first group which is from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm). If you have booked a permit for Wayna Picchu mountain, you’ll climb the mountain after the tour; however, spaces are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that Wayna Picchu permits are not available for your departure date, you will climb Machu Picchu Mountain instead. After a great time at the Incan emperor’s palace, we’ll take the bus down to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes town), where we’ll have lunch (not included). In the afternoon we’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo train station and/or Poroy train station, as of this place continue driving to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 13: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Puno. (Optional train to Puno – ask our specialists)

Rainbow Mountain Peru

The trip begins at 4:00 a.m. from Cusco to Puno, traveling for about 3 hours on paved roads until reaching Cusipata. From there, we take a dirt road to ascend Rainbow Mountain. After a 1.5-hour hike to the viewpoint, we’ll enjoy the colorful peak and return to the parking lot in about 1 hour. We then head back to Cusipata, rejoin the main road, and continue toward Puno, with a stop at Raqchi, the temple of the God Wiracocha, known for its large circular columns and Inca granaries. After the Raqchi visit, we drive for about 4.5 more hours to reach Puno, with an estimated arrival time between 18:30 and 19:30.
Day 14: Day 14: Titikaka Lake – Uros and Taquile Islands.

Uros Floating Islands

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno at 7 a.m. and head to the port at Lake Titicaca. We will take a motorized boat to our first stop on the floating Islands of Uros. Here you will be able to see small communities and families that live on islands made of totura reeds. We will be able to see all of the things that the local people make from the reed, including houses, artwork, and boats. Our guide will tell you about the lifestyle of the local people. Tour of Taquile Island. We will then head to the Island of Taquile, and when we arrive we will walk along a wide trail with impressive veiws of the lake. We will visit some places where local artwork is made, and at lunch time we will go to the home of a local family and enjoy some of the local food. The boat will then take us to the Port of Puno and we will arrive at about 5 p.m. The tour ends with transfer to your hotel.
