Professional Car and Driver Tour

Day 1: Arrival & Chennai Sightseeing
Arrive in Chennai where your driver greets you at the airport or hotel. Visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Fort St. George, St. Mary’s Church, and the Government Museum. Overnight in Chennai.

Day 2: Excursion to Mahabalipuram
Travel to UNESCO-listed Mahabalipuram, famous for its ancient rock-cut monuments. Explore the Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, and Cave Temples. End the day with a walk along Mahabalipuram Beach before returning to Chennai.

Day 3: French Charm of Pondicherry
Drive to Pondicherry, a town with Indian and French influences. Visit Auroville and the golden Matrimandir, the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and the charming French Quarter. Other highlights include Manakula Vinayagar Temple and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Temples of Kumbakonam & Tanjore
Journey to Kumbakonam, known for its temples. Explore Gangaikonda Cholapuram and the grand Brihadeeswarar Temple, both UNESCO sites. Continue to Darasuram to see the Airavatesvara Temple and visit a bronze statue workshop. Overnight in Tanjore.

Day 5: Trichy & Chettinadu Experience
Head to Trichy to explore its landmarks before driving to Chettinadu, famed for mansions and crafts. Visit the Chettinad Palace, stroll through villages, and see local artistry. Enjoy a Chettinad-style meal before proceeding to Madurai.

Day 6: Cultural Treasures of Madurai
Discover Madurai with visits to the lively flower market, the Gandhi Museum, and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Take a rickshaw ride, join the Vanakkam Madurai walking tour, and end the day at the grand Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 7: Kerala Wildlife & Nature
Cross into Kerala, “God’s Own Country.” Enjoy a guided visit to a grapes garden and explore a wildlife sanctuary, surrounded by lush greenery. Overnight in Kerala.

Day 8: Alleppey Houseboat Cruise
Board a houseboat (book it directly by own) or shikara in Alleppey for a scenic cruise through Kerala’s backwaters. Glide past coconut groves, paddy fields, and villages. Watch the sunset before staying overnight on board.

Day 9: Mararikulam & Kochi Highlights
Drive to Mararikulam, known for coconut oil workshops and local cuisine. On the way to Kochi, stop at villages to see coir-making units, tea shops, and paddy fields. In Kochi, visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and Fort Kochi, then stroll along the Promenade.

Day 10: Departure from Kochi
Your Tamil Nadu and Kerala journey concludes. Your driver will transfer you to Kochi Airport for your onward flight.
