Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

  • Discover the rugged beauty of Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, one of Australia’s most spectacular mountain landscapes and a place of deep cultural significance to the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali Peoples. Explore ancient sandstone ranges, cascading waterfalls, panoramic lookouts and native bushland on a small-group adventure through this National Heritage-listed region.

Shaped by millions of years of natural processes, the Grampians feature towering peaks, dramatic rock formations and sweeping views. The park is home to more than one-third of Victoria’s native plant species, along with kangaroos, emus, wallabies and more than 200 bird species, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

We begin the day with a stop in the charming town of Beaufort to stretch your legs and enjoy a light refreshment before continuing into the heart of the Grampians. Set off on a scenic hike through native bushland to some of the region’s most remarkable lookout points, taking in breathtaking mountain views along the way.

Enjoy free time in Halls Gap to explore the village and purchase lunch from a local café or bakery. After lunch, visit some of the Grampians’ most famous sights, including Reeds & Boroka Lookout, Jaws of Death and Balconies Lookout. Admire their dramatic rock formations and panoramic views—locations famously featured in the Japanese anime Princess Mononoke.

Continue to spectacular MacKenzie Falls, one of Victoria’s largest and most impressive year-round waterfalls. Descend to the base and experience the power of the cascading water surrounded by towering rock walls and native forest. Depending on park conditions, we may instead visit the equally beautiful Silverband Falls or Beehive Falls.

After a day of hiking, wildlife and unforgettable scenery, relax on the journey back to Melbourne, with a final stop to refuel. Leave the Grampians with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for Australia’s incredible natural diversity.
