Day 1: Arrival and Great Tang All Day Mall

Upon arrival at Xi'an airport or train station, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the dazzling Great Tang All Day Mall (Datang Bu Ye Cheng), a vibrant pedestrian boulevard lit with thousands of lights recreating the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. Overnight in Xi'an.

Day 2: Huaqing Palace and Terracotta Warriors

After breakfast at the hotel, head east to visit Huaqing Palace, the legendary hot-spring retreat of Emperor Xuanzong and his consort Yang Guifei, set against the scenic backdrop of Mount Li. Then continue to the world-famous Terracotta Army Museum (Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum), where you will walk through Pit 1, Pit 2, and Pit 3 to marvel at the 2,200-year-old life-sized warriors and horses — one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. Return to Xi'an for overnight stay. Breakfast included.

Day 3: Huashan Mountain Adventure

Rise early for a full-day excursion to Mount Hua (Huashan), one of China's Five Sacred Mountains and renowned for its breathtaking cliffs and hair-raising trails. Challenge yourself on the Thousand-Foot Precipice, Hundred-Foot Crevice, Heavenly Stairs, and the legendary Plank Walk in the Sky. Soak in panoramic views from the peaks before heading back to Xi'an. On the way back, stop at Yongxingfang, a traditional food street where you can sample authentic Shaanxi snacks and street food. Groups of 3 or fewer travel to Huashan by high-speed rail; groups of 4 or more enjoy a private vehicle transfer. Breakfast included. Overnight in Xi'an.

Day 4: Xi'an City Highlights and Departure

After breakfast, explore the heart of Xi'an. Walk or cycle atop the Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city fortifications in China. Visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square, stroll through the bustling Muslim Quarter to taste local delicacies, and admire the imposing Big Wild Goose Pagoda from its scenic northern square. After the tour, transfer to the airport or train station for departure. Breakfast included.
