Spice Experience Session ️
Get ready to engage all your senses. In this session, you will smell, touch, and taste authentic Sri Lankan spices in their raw form. You will learn the secrets of our curry powders and the art of spice blending that has been passed down through generations.

Hands-On Cooking Experience ‍
This is a complete 3 to 4 hour hands-on cooking lesson where you are the chef. We provide step-by-step guidance throughout the entire process, ensuring you learn the exact techniques of our traditional cuisine. Under the expert eye of our local chef, you will prepare 4 to 6 traditional Sri Lankan dishes.

Mastering Ancient Tools & Methods ⚒️
Experience the true village lifestyle by using our traditional kitchen tools. You will get hands-on experience with:

The Kurahan Gala: A rare opportunity to use the ancient grinding mill for grains.

The Miris Gala: Master the grinding stone to crush fresh coconut and chilies.

The Wangediya: Use the mortar and pestle to pound spices and release their deep aromas.

The Kulla: Learn to use the winnowing fan and the traditional waving fan for the wood-fired hearth.

Clay Pots: Learn how to extract fresh coconut milk and cook in authentic clay pots over an open fire.

The Traditional Menu
Prepare a full Sri Lankan spread featuring aromatic chicken or fish curry, creamy dhal (lentil) curry, multiple seasonal vegetable curries, and freshly made coconut sambol. End the meal with a traditional Sri Lankan sweet like Watalappan or Curd and Treacle.

Dining Together & Photo Session
