Discover the enchanting village of Chulilla and its breathtaking canyon — the source of the Turia River, less than an hour from Valencia.

Embark on a spectacular circular hike that showcases the very best of this stunning landscape. Our adventure begins deep in the Turia River canyon, where towering cliffs rise dramatically on both sides. You’ll cross two impressive suspension bridges that span the river — an unforgettable highlight — before stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch with panoramic views over the canyon.

The second part of the walk takes us through peaceful olive groves, where we’ll admire sweeping vistas of the turquoise waters of the Loriguilla Dam. From there, we continue along the ridge of a parallel gorge — a fascinating contrast in geology and scenery, despite running alongside the main canyon.

Finally, we return to the picturesque whitewashed village of Chulilla, wandering through its charming backstreets before relaxing with a well-deserved refreshing drink in the main plaza.

This beautiful route covers 12.5 km with around 150 meters of ascent and descent, making it a moderate, rewarding hike filled with natural beauty, history, and local charm.
