Start your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel. Enjoy a peaceful sunrise boat ride on the sacred Ganges River and watch the morning rituals along the ghats.

Take a short guided walk through the old city’s narrow lanes to visit the holy Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Afterward, stop for breakfast (own expense).

Continue to Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Asia’s largest residential university. Explore the campus, Bharat Kala Bhavan Museum, and the New Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple).

Next, visit the famous Durga Temple (Durga Kund Mandir). Around 12:30 PM, learn about Varanasi’s traditional silk weaving, followed by a lunch break (own expense).

In the afternoon, drive to Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Dhamekh Stupa and the Archaeological Museum (closed Fridays).

Return to the Ganges to see the cremation ghats and then witness the spiritual Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

After the tour, your driver will drop you back at your hotel.
