Not only discovering some of the most famous sites in the surrounding of Vang Vieng, any novice joining in this discovery tour of Vang Vieng will be taken to the thrill of cave explorations.

You will depart from your Hotels in Vang Vieng city centre. After traveling around 14 km to the north of Vang Vieng, you will visit the first cave of Tham Xang (Elephant Cave) situated on the opposite banks of the Nam Song. It is an important Buddhist temple and owes its name to a noticeable limestone formation.

The nearby Tham Hoi cave (Snail cave) gyrates its way deep into the mountain. You will explore through numerous long corridors with magnificent limestone formations for around 45 minutes. Lying at the mouth of Tham Nam (Water cave) is another cool pool of spring water, an ideal place for a swim.
