Start with hotel pick up in Puno and transfer to the Puno bus terminal. Transfer by tourist bus from Puno - La Paz. In the afternoon at leisure, you can visit the city of La Paz and El Alto.
First you will be picked up from the bus terminal in the town of Uyuni. You will have breakfast in a cafeteria.
We will start the tour (10:30 Hrs).
First point of visit will be the train cemetery. Then we will go to the community of Colchani where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processor of table salt.
Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, salt eyes and the salt hotel Playa Blanca which nowadays only functions as a museum.
Afterwards we will visit the most popular island in the middle of the Salar, Incahuasi Island, where we will hike and see large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360° views from the lookout point.
At the end of our tour, we head to the town of Uyuni.
