The workshop takes place in the middle of rural Uruguay, near the small town of Santa Rosa in the Canelones department. Our small textile studio is located in a country house. Our room for the workshop is also located there on the ground floor. In the workshop you will weave the fabric for a small aroma pillow on a small loom. The yarn used comes from Uruguayan Merino sheep and is 100% wool. The aroma pillow is filled with lavender and wool and sewn by me. The final size is approximately 14 cm x10 cm. No previous knowledge is necessary. The course instructors speak Spanish and English, as well as German and French, depending on the leader. Uruguay is the fourth largest wool exporter in the world and has some of the softest Merino wool. Immerse yourself in the world of the oldest crafts and create your own souvenir from Merino wool. Near the workshop (14km) is the famous bodega of the Deicas family (Juanico).
