Mineral and rock workshop held in the mine itself, where there is a talk about the most common minerals and rocks in nature, such as galena, blende, calcite, and dolomite, and sedimentary rocks such as limestone and dolomite. We will look at the physical properties of some minerals and some volcanic and plutonic rocks.
Afterwards, we'll take an approximately 1-hour walk through the old mine, seeing the mineral outcrops and the tools used by the miners, as well as the mining archaeology.
Three minerals will be given as gifts at the workshop, and the participant will receive a fourth gift at the mine outcrop itself.
The total duration of the excursion, including the workshop and the walk through the mine, is approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
