The hike is roughly 1.5 hours, the time it takes is completely dependent on what we find and your own pace, it could be longer or shorter. Begin your hike at the parking lot near the trailhead, next to Trinidad State Beach. Take a wide trail up a steep incline, with views of the harbor and songbirds along the way.

Once at the top, stop for a break and enjoy the views. Look out for whales, marine mammals, and sea birds. As you hike, your guide will point out wildlife, plants and their uses, indigenous history, and history of the area.

On the way down, take a smaller trail that gives you a view of the Trinidad Beach and other large sea stacks. Keep an eye out for seals and sea lions.
