Spend an evening like a local in a real Tokyo home, not a restaurant or cooking studio. Meet your host at Shinagawa Station and visit a neighborhood supermarket to pick out fresh fish and vegetables together. At your host's home, learn to make temaki (hand-rolled sushi), the way Japanese families do for celebrations. Enjoy dinner with miso soup around the family table, then green tea and Japanese sweets. After dinner, relax at a local tattoo-friendly sento (public bath). Admission and towels are included, and your host will explain the etiquette. The sento is optional. Your host will walk you back to the station. Private group only, with English support. Ingredients, transport and sento admission are all included.
