We’ll begin at Wadakura Fountain Park with riverside views and the surrounding moats, then stroll to Ōtemon Gate and you will learn the story behind the castle gates and their role in Japan’s samurai past!

From there we’ll explore historic guardhouses and ruins, stopping at amazing photo spots that most visitors miss!

Next, we’ll walk through the beautiful Ninomaru Garden!
Its winding paths, seasonal flowers, ponds and imperial koi fish (can only be found here!) are perfect for a calm break from the city :)

Along the way our guide will bring to life how the Shogun’s world shaped modern Japan (!) and tell stories of the Edo era you won’t find on any plaque!
