The drive from the fruits to the rock is around 35 minutes but is full of beautiful sceneries of kale plantations, onion, sugar cane, coffee, tomatoes and hundreds of mountains silhouettes. As we drive we start telling you all the history of the rock: components, owners, when was it climbed and more interesting facts. Once we get there you get the chance to climb up it. It’s 749 steps and 50 minutes approximately to go up and down. Once you reach the top, you can stay up there for as long as you wish as you witness one of the most beautiful views you have ever seen. This is not only our opinion but that of hundreds of tourists we have taken there. At the top there are several shops where you can buy water, beer and many other items and sit down to appreciate the view of the lake, tiny islands and country houses. Whenever you feel ready to start going down we'll be ready waiting for you to continue our adventure to one of the most colorful towns in the country: Guatape town.

The next and last stop is one of the most authentic and picturesque towns in Colombia: Guatapé. Named after an indian chief this town has preserved the Zocalos tradition. But what are Zocalos? It's a beautiful artistic colonial tradition that people from Guatapé has taken to the next level. At this town you have lunch in a very authentic place with a view to the lake and then to wash it down you have the chance to try a fresh and authentic Colombian coffee, the best quality from the coffee region. After the lunch and coffee you are invited to make a guided tour in which your guide explains in more detail the zocalos meaning and the town history. You visit places like the church with its beautiful wood ceiling, Zocalos square and the Remembrance Street.
