Beyond the romantic myths of the Middle Ages, this historical tour conveys the harsh reality of those who once lived on the fringes of society. The world of the poor, needy, and outcast has always deterred people – and not infrequently fascinated them equally. A lot was always in flux. Over the centuries, the reasons that led to exclusion have also changed. The conditions in which the marginalized lived also changed. Organizations and institutions like the Hospital Foundation of Konstanz played a role in this. Now go on a journey through time through Constance with Seelfrau Magdalena or Bader Veit and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the poor, the religiously persecuted, executioners, prostitutes, and many other marginalized people…

Accessibility:

The tour is accessible and can be done with a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. Please let us know when you sign up.
People with severe disabilities (Category B) and their companions can join the tour for free.
Electric vehicles can be used free of charge in connection with city tours.

Dogs:

You can bring dogs as long as they don't disturb the tour. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Guide and assistance dogs are always allowed.

Cancellation/exclusion from the city tour:

A city tour can be canceled by the person in charge, or individual participants can be excluded from the tour if they behave inappropriately or disturb other participants (e.g., insults).
