What you can expect
Discover all the most important sights of Pest side with your tour guide in a sustainable way! Walk around the City Park and ride along the Danube shore to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the city. During this sustainable tour you avoid extra pollution of tour buses and wasting time by sitting in traffic jams. The tour brings you closer to locals by discovering the hidden treasures of the city by public transportation, on 4-wheel bike and on foot.
We start the tour in the City Park, from the famous Széchenyi Thermal Bath (built in 1913) where you can taste the healing water provided by the Saint Stephen Well. After walking around the park we reach the city center with the continent's oldest underground and continue our ride to the Margaret Island by tram avoiding extra pollution. On a 4-wheel unique bike called Bringóhintó we explore relaxing parks, charming gardens and historic monuments of the island. During a picturesque tram ride along the Danube river you can enjoy the view of the splendid Parliament building, the panorama of the Buda Castle and the Citadel on Gellért Hill.
The tour ends at the Great Market Hall with a tasting of a Hungarian specialty preapred in a sustainable way.
During the tour your guide introduces the full concept of sustainable tourism including transportation, architecture, local and organic food, fair trade and sustainable shops, examples of ‘green’ businesses, and more.
