Leave Muscat and head to wadi bani Khalid, one of the biggest, stunning and beautiful wadi in Oman (apprx 2:30 hrs drive). Its a great time to relax and enjoy swimming in the pools of blue and fresh water. (It's possible to have a picnic by the wadi). After having a great time in the wadi we continue drive to the desert (wahiba sand). You may enjoy the camel ride, sand boarding and quad bike. Enjoy the sunset from the big dunes. (It's an option to have a dinner at one of the desert camps). In the end its time to go back to Muscat.
