In Nazaré, visitors will start at Sítio, the famous viewpoint where the giant waves are surfed. From there, they can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, and learn about the history of big wave surfing at the lighthouse (Forte de São Miguel Arcanjo). Afterwards, they can go down to the town for lunch at a traditional seafood restaurant, tasting fresh fish and local specialties.
