With this ticket, you can freely visit the Shaolin Temple. You may also upgrade to premium packages that include a private English-speaking guide and pick-up & drop-off services from your hotel or train station.
Option 1: Ticket Only
Perfect for independent travelers who want freedom. Includes entry to Shaolin Temple and the shuttle bus. (This option does not include hotel transfers, a guide, or the Music Ceremony show.)
Option 2: Private Guide + Round-Trip Transfers (Recommended)
Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. On the way, the guide will elaborate on the founding history of Shaolin Temple, the origin of Chan culture, and the global development of Shaolin Kung Fu. Upon arrival, you will take an in-depth guided tour of core attractions including the main temple complex and the Pagoda Forest.
This package features a special Kung Fu show performed by resident Shaolin monks. (Tip: Seats are limited on weekends; standing may be required during peak times). After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Zhengzhou or Luoyang.
Option 3: The Full Experience (Guide + Transfers + Music Ceremony)
This package covers all services in the option 2, plus admission to the grand outdoor live performance Zen Shaolin · Music Ceremony. Enjoy a full day of temple exploration and martial arts, followed by a spectacular night show. Your private guide and driver stay with you until you are safely back at your hotel.
Located just 7 km from the Shaolin Temple in the Daixiangou Scenic Area, the Zen Shaolin Music Grand Ceremony is a spectacular open-air performance. Set against a natural mountain valley backdrop, the show features nearly 600 performers presenting Zen culture and Kung Fu through five stunning chapters.
New stage effects and programs are launched in 2026, accompanied by pre-show folk performances such as dragon dance and qigong. Sit on traditional cushions in the mountain valley to experience Zen culture and Kung Fu up close. A classic night tour attraction on Songshan Mountain.
Daily professional Kung Fu shows are scheduled at the scenic area. Please note that show times may vary slightly based on daily operations. We will send your e-tickets and viewing details in advance to ensure a smooth experience.
