Our meeting point at 10:00 is the famous Seekapelle chapel in Seefeld. From here we start our circular hike over the monastery hill to the photogenic Wildmoossee lake and walk along its shore, partly over wooden footbridges, through the impressive lake and moor landscape. The rest of the route is initially fairly flat until we reach the “Auland”, from where our ascent to the Gschwandtkopf begins. We soon reach the summit of the Gschwandtkopf on good paths through sparse forests. At the summit and just below the reservoir, we can enjoy the sweeping panorama and marvel at the Tyrolean mountains in all directions. The following descent leads us downhill along an abandoned ski slope, accompanied by the view of the Wetterstein mountains on one side and the Inn valley on the other. To complete our round tour, we walk back through forests and meadows towards Seefeld and finally reach our starting point at the Seekapelle chapel.
