    Duration: 3-5 hours

    Notes: Visits to the fortreses, archaeological sites and museums are NOT included. Greek lunch can be arranged upon request and will can take place AFTER the tour. Transport by minivan to and from Corfu Town or Port can be arranged upon prior request, max. 6 persons. For distances>10km from Corfu Town there is a 10-15euro supplement to cover fuel costs

Our tour begins from nearby the New Fortress of Corfu town which is a Venetian fortress built on the hill of St. Mark in Corfu in stages, at the beginning of 16th century. The current buildings which exist within the fortress were built by the British during their rule of the island (1815–63). The Venetian fortifications were later expanded by the British and the French to help defend against a possible Ottoman attack.

Corfu Old Town

Its architecture is unique and not similar with any other place in Greece, as it is structured as a labyrinth of narrow, cobblestone alleys (καντούνια), peach and ocher coloured buildings and numerous antique churches.

The Palace of St. Michael and St. George is an historic building in Corfu Town. The building houses the museum of Asian Art, various temporaty excibitions of greek painting and student projects of visual arts
