  • You must be 14 years or older to participate in our Shark Dive Xtreme experience. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18.
  • IMPORTANT ARRIVAL TIMES 10:00am/11:00am - Divers are required on site at 8:45am for a safety briefing/induction. 2:30pm/3:30pm - Divers are required on site at 1:15pm for a safety briefing/induction.
  • No previous dive experience is required however, you MUST have a reasonable degree of swimming ability to be able to participate
  • All divers MUST be able to speak English and have a reasonable degree of swimming ability. For health and safety reasons we are unable to allow non-English speakers to dive with our sharks.
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving.
  • Please carefully read the list of medical conditions that may prohibit you from taking part in the Shark Dive for your own safety. (Asthma, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Chest Conditions including Pneumothorax, Sinus Conditions, Ear problems/surgery, High blood pressure)
  • If you suffer from or have suffered from any of the above medical conditions OR If you suffer from any other medical conditions, including recent injuries, surgeries or psychological conditions then you will be required to obtain a fully completed medical clearance from your doctor prior to booking
  • If you are pregnant, or planning to become pregnant, please do not book.

Melbourne's most Thrilling Experience!
Take the plunge with sharks! Get your adrenaline pumping and take the plunge in one of the most thrilling animal encounters in Australia. Shark Dive Xtreme is a rare opportunity to get closer than ever to our incredible Tawny Nurse Sharks, Leopard Sharks, Green Sean Turtles, as well as Rays, and many more amazing sea creatures… all without a cage!
Shark Dive Xtreme is one of only a few experiences worldwide where you're guaranteed an underwater encounter with sharks.

Shark Dive Xtreme is a 2.5-3 hour experience, suitable for first-time divers with no previous diving experience required. This experience is suitable for ages 14+, and a reasonable degree of swimming ability is required to participate. Please ensure you check the restrictions and medical requirements on the SEA LIFE website before booking.

Each guest will take part in a 90-minute introductory briefing and a 30-minute diving experience to go face-to-fin with sharks, rays and more!

Shark Dive Xtreme runs on selected dates, with three timeslots available to choose from per day. Each timeslot can accommodate up to 4 people - so pre-booking is essential.
