Begin with a visit to the remarkable Saeva Dupka Cave, one of Bulgaria’s most impressive cave systems. Explore the cave’s enormous chambers, fascinating rock formations, and excellent acoustics. Often called the “underground cathedral” of Bulgaria, the cave reveals a magical world of stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millions of years. The cave is about 400 meters long and the tour there takes about 1 hour and you will be able to take some amazing photos! Please have in mind that the temperature inside is constantly around 10 – 14 degrees, so even in the summer season you will need to bring a jacket or sweatshirt with you!

After exploring the cave, stop for a lunch break in a traditional restaurant in the village of Yablanitsa (lunch not included).

Glozhene Monastery
