Leave the city behind for a day of raw elemental power. Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Rotorua Central through ancient forests and rolling emerald farmlands. First, witness the earth come alive at Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, where you’ll catch the famous Lady Knox Geyser in action before wandering past the surreal, neon-hued hot springs and bubbling mud pools.

The adventure continues deep into the Waimangu Volcanic Valley. Walk through a landscape reborn from the 1886 Mt Tarawera eruption and discover the world's youngest geothermal system. To top it all off, find serenity on a Lake Rotomahana boat cruise. Glide past steaming cliffs and hidden geysers, all under the watchful silhouette of the mighty Mt Tarawera.
