What you can expect

Guangzhou is an old city with many new buildings nowadays. It is wonderful to view the Guangzhou Circle, and wander around T.I.T center, visit Huangpu Ancient Port, Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Taigucang(Taikoo) Wharf in a day with a local guide. Chinese lunch is included. Pickup time is 8:30am from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel.

Activity itinerary

Liwan District

At 8:30am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel, then head to the Guangzhou Circle Building that is a new building with an impressive golden coin shape. You will view the huge circle from a very good spot.

TIT Creative Industry Zone

Then you will head to the T.I.T center where the WeChat office is situated. There are impressive buildings, bars, and offices etc., and it is interesting to wander around and to take photos.

Huangpu Ancient Village Museum

Head to Huangpu Ancient Port, where you can view the ruin of the ancient port, and old village to display the history about the marine silk road in the ancient time.

Sacred Heart Cathedral

Visit the old Sacred Heart Cathedral in the old town of Guangzhou, which was built in 1888AD in Qing Dynasty.

Taigucang Road

Then you will move to the Taigucang Wharf, which is situated beside the Pearl River, and used to be an ancient wharf. It is a quite modern shopping and art area with well-designed houses. It is nice to walk around to view the Pearl River. Later, you will be transferred back to your Guangzhou hotel where the day tour concludes.
