We set off from Praia towards the lush inland of Santiago, where the island reveals its most authentic side. The scenic road takes us to São Domingos, where we'll savor the traditional corn cake — simple, authentic and steeped in tradition.

We continue to Órgãos, a land of fertile valleys and majestic mountains, where the pace slows down and nature dominates the landscape.

In Assomada, we'll visit the lively municipal market, immersing ourselves in the colors, flavors and authenticity of the island's interior.

As we cross the mountain range, the mountains open up to breathtaking coastal views until we reach the paradise of Tarrafal. Here, one of the most beautiful beaches in Cape Verde beckons you to relax, go scuba diving and take in the view. For those who wish, it is possible to visit the historic Tarrafal Concentration Camp, a striking symbol of national memory.
