This relaxed walking experience combines local history, beautiful scenery and the joy of spending time with an Arctic dog.
Meeting point
We meet at Porvoo Bus Station, making the experience easy to reach from Helsinki by direct bus (approximately 1 hour). Free parking is also available nearby for guests arriving by car.
Group size
To keep the experience personal and enjoyable for both guests and dogs, the group is limited to 2–4 participants.
Itinerary
Welcome & Husky Introduction (10 minutes)
Meet your husky companion.
Safety briefing and introduction to the dogs.
Walk through the historic streets (30 minutes)
We begin by walking through the charming streets of Porvoo Old Town, passing colorful wooden houses, narrow cobblestone lanes and small local boutiques. Your guide shares stories about the town's history and everyday life. Porvoo's iconic cathedral is a great place to stop for photography.
Scenic walk via Maari area (40 minutes)
Leaving the busiest streets behind, the tour continues through Maari’s beautiful park area to the riverbank. Both guests and dogs can enjoy a more peaceful pace. This part of the walk offers scenic views towards the town.
Riverside (20 minutes)
We walk along the beautiful Porvoo riverside and weather permitting, stop for an ice cream break. One serving of ice cream is included in the price (weather permitting). Guests can relax with the huskies and enjoying the river views.
Return Walk (20 minutes)
We make our way back to the city centre, still allowing plenty of opportunities for photos with your husky companion before saying goodbye. The tour ends at the bus station.
