The Ducks, originally used in World War II, have been completely rebuilt from scratch and modified to meet the strict safety regulations set by road and river authorities.
We are providing a splash down onto the Douro river from the Afurada slipway, with a river tour that lasts about 50 minutes, so you can still enjoy the amphibious adventure.

The starting and ending points will be in Afurada – on the ramp. Right in front of the Afurada Market.

Our customers will board the duck in Afurada Ramp.
Then get ready for Our amazing splash down.

On the river, the Duck sails upstream passing under the amazing Arrabida bridge, passed the Heliport of Massarelos, and the Church . After that it turns back and heads to the estuary. Our customers can see the coastal region, where the fresh water of the river mixes with the salt water of the sea.

Then passing by the marina and out of the river at the Afurada slipway.

All commentary is presented in Portuguese and English by a live tour guide.
