Book this incredible experience that will take you to discover Pentedattilo, a mountain with a distinctive five-finger shape that has been inhabited since the 9th century. Its history shrouded in legend has created an aura of mystery around the hamlet. For many years, it was considered a “ghost town”. Today, there are only three registered residents, but thanks to the active collaboration of a community of volunteers, it has been brought back to life. Strolling along the main street, we will have the opportunity to admire the room where Saint Gaetano Catanoso lived for many years and to visit the small church where we will talk about the famous “Alberti massacre.” We will visit the small workshops that showcase the ancient traditions of this area: broom processing; the production of Musulupa and Musulupare; the art of weaving; and wine production, which has characterized the region since prehistoric times. At the end of the tour, comfortably seated and overlooking a spectacular panorama, we will enjoy a tasting of Calabrian wines.
