What you can expect
Explore the city center of a true gem amongst the Serbian cities to visit, the capital of the Vojvodina province, surrounded by fertile arable pastures - the Fruška Gora mountain and the Danube river. Enjoy a relaxed 1h downtown walk, while you are surrounded by charming squares, parks, local markets and unique architecture in Serbia. We will visit pedestrian Zmaj Jovina street, Freedom square, Danube park, Republic square, charming streets, green market, just to mention а few.
And then we drive through the old old cobblestones to the very top of the Petrovaradin fortress, a masterpiece of medieval defense architecture, where you will hear interesting stories about the construction of the fortress itself, but also about the hidden tunnels and labyrinths and story how this fortress was never conquered once it was finished…And enjoy in beautiful view, too!
Should we perhaps leave the best for last?
Just a 15-minute drive from Novi Sad, the tucked away baroque town of Sremski Karlovci welcomes us, where we will enjoy the best wines of Fruška Gora and try Bermet, the wine for which the entire region is known even beyond the borders of Serbia. After tasting top wines, you will have free time for lunch, souvenirs or a pleasant walk around this small town, before returning to Belgrade.
