I'm Paul, a born and raised native of New Orleans, I have given thousands of visitors from around the world and have earned over 450 5★ Reviews on my NOLA METAIRIE CEMETERY TOUR. I have taken many courses on New Orleans and read most of the books on her 300 year old history. I'm a Licensed NOLA Tour Guide and have a B.S. in Marketing from The University of New Orleans. This is NOT a ghost tour. The day I am able to contact a ghost and introduce them to you will be the day I start giving ghost tours. METAIRIE CEMETERY - Since 1872 has been named one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. Oval shape can be traced back to its days as a race track. Became a cemetery after the Civil War in 1872. Final resting place of over 9,000 people. With over 130 Acres and more than 10,000 Above Ground Multi-Million $ Family Tombs of New Orleans most prominent people like, Al Copeland - Founder Popeyes Fried Chicken, Ruth Fertel - Founder Ruth's Chris Steak House, Tom Benson - Owner of the New Orleans Saints & Pelicans, Anne Rice - Vampire Novelist, P.G.T.
