A night time adventure in Charco Azul and its surrounding caves is a once in a lifetime adventure that you will not want to miss. A night adventure in Charco Azul Canyon feels like slipping into a secret world hidden inside Puerto Rico’s mountains—one that only wakes up after dark. As the sun dips behind the lush ridges of the forest, the air cools and the sounds shift. Coquí frogs begin their rhythmic chorus, echoing through the canyon like a natural soundtrack guiding you forward. With a headlamp cutting a narrow path of light, you follow the trail that winds through dense jungle, where the scent of wet earth and wild herbs hangs heavy. We will swim, hike and cross thru the forest and river several times to get to our destination. We will also cross 2 cave’s underground tunnels and swim out to the other side.
