Embark on a sake tour in Nara, the birthplace of sake, where you can experience its historical brewing and culture. Accompanied by a sake-loving guide, interact with locals, enjoy local sake and cuisine, and have the special experience of toasting in front of World Heritage sites.
Meet your guide in front of the East Ticket Gate on the basement floor of Kintetsu Nara Station. First, visit the Nishinomiya Shrine, also known as Nishinomiya Jinja or Nishinomiya Ebisu.

Next, head to Standing Bar 369 Miroku, a rare standing bar in Nara where you can enjoy drinks from the morning. Sip on local Nara sake and fine selections from across Japan.
Then, visit a sake brewery and shop. Taste five selected sake varieties recommended by the brewery. Continue to the Sake Museum, where you can enjoy your drinks while overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Gangoji Temple.
Finally, visit another sake brewery and shop. Afterward, return to the meeting point in front of the East Ticket Gate on the basement floor of Kintetsu Nara Station.
