9:30 AM: Depart for Jogeshwari Caves, which are located around 15 km from Mumbai city center. During the 45-minute drive, your guide will provide you with some interesting insights into the history of Mumbai and its cultural heritage. 10:15 AM: Arrive at Jogeshwari Caves and start your guided tour of the ancient rock-cut caves. The caves date back to the 6th century and are believed to have been carved out of a basaltic rock by Buddhist monks. During your visit, you'll get to explore some of the 21 caves and observe the intricate carvings, sculptures, and paintings that depict various Buddhist deities and mythological stories.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya

The museum is located in a stunning heritage building and is considered one of the best museums in India. 3:00 PM: Upon reaching the museum, your guide will purchase the museum entry ticket for foreigners, which includes Museum Entry, an Audio Guide, and a Mobile photo pass. Explore the various galleries and exhibits that showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of India. Some of the highlights of the museum include the collection of miniature paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.
