Experience the wondrous scenery of Monument Valley Tribal Park. In the far reaches of the Navajo Nation is lie the big sky vistas of Monument Valley. Sheer walled cliff top mesas tower over remote hogans (the traditional homes of the Navajo). Working shepherds tending their flocks are commonly seen in this area, and the views are big, wide and enormous. Monument Valley was made famous by the John Ford western films in the 1930's and 40's. You’ll embark on a 1.5 hour off-road journey with a Native American guide via the scenic drive through Monument Valley Tribal Park. You’ll learn about the Navajo Indian way of life and see traditional dwellings along the way.These world famous views are a photographers dream that will not disappoint. A delicious lunch is included in the tour.
