Wine Tour from Chișinău to Mileștii Mici – Home of the World’s Largest Wine Cellar

Please note that this tour is organized by us to make your visit to the winery easier and more comfortable.

In most cases, we provide an English-speaking driver for transportation from Chișinău to Mileștii Mici and back. Please note that a dedicated tour guide is not always included during the transfer.

Once you arrive at the winery, you will be welcomed by a local guide from Mileștii Mici, who will lead your tour and provide a full wine cellar experience in English.

After a scenic 30–35 minute drive, arrive at the legendary Mileștii Mici Winery, home to the world’s largest wine cellar, officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Located 200 km from Chișinău, this extraordinary underground labyrinth holds over 1.5 million bottles of premium wine, known as the Golden Collection.

Set 60 meters underground, the galleries offer a magical blend of history, craftsmanship, and tradition. Stroll through vast limestone tunnels, learn about Moldova’s winemaking heritage, and experience the warm local spirit with a friendly toast—“Hai, Noroc!” (Cheers!)

Additional Information: The tour is available for a minimum of 2 participants, or you can upgrade to a private tour. The winery is closed on public holidays: 25 December, 1 January, and 6 January.
Please bring a jacket, as the temperature inside the wine cellars is 12–13°C (54–55°F).
