  • Overview

The Mexican wine tour from Mexico City is a tasty experience to learn about the delicious grape-made drink and cheese traditions of Queretaro State, the second most famous wine region in Mexico. Also, Peña de Bernal, a “Magical Town” famous for its beautiful colonial architecture and the third biggest monolith in the world, will leave you amazed on your visit.

    Itinerary

Join us on our Mexican Wine Tour! Prepare for a fun-filled day as we head to Queretaro, a region known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Along the way, watch the terrain shift from mountainous to semi-desertic landscapes—like watching a live natural movie unfold before your eyes.

Our first stop will be an artisanal cheese farm, where you’ll dive deep into the world of cheese-making. The farm’s passionate producers will guide you through creating some of the most delicious local cheeses, showcasing the craftsmanship behind each variety. Once you’ve learned all the trade secrets, your taste buds will be delighted as you sample an array of scrumptious cheeses. From creamy to sharp, every bite will leave you craving more.

After this delightful cheese experience, we continue to the charmingMagic Townof Bernal, famous for its massive Peña de Bernal monolith. This iconic rock formation is one of the largest in the world, and its sheer size and beauty make for great photos. After taking in the view, we’ll hop on a walking tour through Bernal’s historic center, where we’ll stroll through quaint streets, try local delicacies, and visit colorful handicraft markets.

But wait, there’s more! Our next destination is one of the region’s most modern and exclusive wineries. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided walk through the lush vineyards, learning all about wine production from an expert guide. After exploring the vineyards, indulge in a wine tasting session with a knowledgeable sommelier to savor some of the best local wines. Take your time to sip, swirl, and savor the flavors.

As the sun sets, return to our vehicle wholly relaxed and have a great way back to your accommodation in Mexico City.
