Embark on the ultimate hiking adventure through Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades), one of Mauritius' most spectacular natural landscapes. This 5 to 6-hour guided hike takes you deep into a breathtaking valley of waterfalls, lush forest, volcanic rock formations, and crystal-clear natural pools.

After meeting your guide in Henrietta Bus Station, you'll receive a comprehensive safety briefing before driving a short distance to the trailhead. From there, begin your descent into the valley, following scenic forest trails into the heart of Tamarind Falls.

Over the next several hours, you'll explore the entire Tamarind Falls valley, discovering all 11 waterfalls that make this remarkable site so unique. The adventure begins along the same trail as our popular half-day hike before continuing far beyond the classic route. As you venture deeper into the valley, the crowds gradually disappear, revealing a quieter and more secluded side of Tamarind Falls that few visitors experience.

Throughout the adventure, your guide will share fascinating insights into Mauritius' endemic flora, native wildlife, volcanic geology, and the history of the region. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, admire the impressive waterfalls, and enjoy optional swims in the refreshing natural pools, weather and river conditions permitting.

After reaching the bottom of the valley, begin the rewarding climb back through the forest, enjoying new perspectives of the waterfalls and surrounding landscape before returning to the starting point.
