Guests are welcomed into Paul Seftel’s gallery and working studio — a space that opens directly onto a historic adobe compound in Cerrillos. From there, the experience extends into the courtyard and surrounding village, if desired. Taking time to observe how light shifts across walls, ground, and open space, the day moves toward evening, and light refreshments and indulgences are served in the outdoor lounge. The art & perception turns to how surfaces absorb and release light. Guests are invited to view select works in low light, including phosphorescent paintings that subtly and dramatically respond to changing light conditions. The experience is personal, unhurried, and grounded in place — offering a deeper understanding of how the work develops from the surrounding landscape and light. Original works and select pieces are available to view and acquire.
