What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival and Forest Experience

Meet your local guide at the Caño Hondo forest entrance and get an orientation and setup at the camping area. Enjoy access to the Caño Hondo natural pools and relax in crystal-clear cascading pools surrounded by jungle.

Join a guided hike through humid forest trails and learn about endemic plants, cacao, and coffee. Enjoy birdwatching and interpretation.

After your hike, relax and watch the sunset. Enjoy a local-style dinner and campfire (if permitted) and hear stories about nature and Taíno culture. Spend the night in the jungle.

Day 2: Nature and Relaxation

Wake up in nature and enjoy free access to the natural pools. Swim, relax, and explore at your own pace. Take an optional walk or go birdwatching before checking out.
