Begin your day with a drive to Yangdi Pier. Board a bamboo raft and float on the blue waves to Jiuma Huashan. Admire the distant mountains and the nearby water filled with smoke. Watch as the sunlight falls on the river surface, painting a flowing ink wash painting.

After getting off the bamboo raft, drive to Xianggong Mountain, known as the best bay in the world. Climb up Xianggong Mountain and look into the distance to see the orderly arrangement of peaks and the beautiful winding Li River.

Next, head to the beautiful Xingping Ancient Town. If you like it on the way, stop for a cup of coffee at a café by the mountain and relax. Xingping Ancient Town is a pearl beside the Lijiang River, known as the first town of the Lijiang River, and also the essence of the poem “Guilin's landscape is the best in the world.”

Here, not only are there stunning mountains and waters depicted on the 20-yuan banknote, but also well-preserved ancient streets from the Ming and Qing dynasties, making it an excellent place to experience the scenery and cultural charm.

Finally, meet local fishermen and learn about their past lives. In the last century, old fishermen liked to gather on the Li River under the cover of the night with bamboo rafts and use domesticated fish eagles for fishing! Fish eagle fishing is an ancient skill passed down for thousands of years by the Chinese working people.
