Begin your experience on the beach by reading the conditions together and setting clear goals for the session. Then, head into the water for an initial surf while your instructor observes how you naturally surf, without interruption. This allows them to understand your habits, strengths, and the technical challenges that show up when the wave or situation changes.

After the assessment, meet back on the beach to review what your instructor has seen and agree on one or two clear focus points to work on. Coaching may take place in the water or from land, depending on the conditions and what will help you most.

Return to the water to apply the focus points immediately, learning how to adjust your technique, stay calm, and make better decisions while surfing real waves.

Finish with a relaxed beach debrief, where you talk through what worked, what felt different, and what you can continue focusing on in future sessions.

For guests who choose video coaching, the session includes filmed surfing and personalized video analysis. You’ll receive a 30-minute analyzed clip (reviewed in person or delivered after the session) that you can keep and use for continued improvement.
